Concerning me

I am a postdoctoral researcher in Mathematics at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics (in Bonn, Germany). My postdoc mentor is Prof. Dr. Herbert Koch.

My research areas are: mathematical magnetohydrodynamics, incompressible fluids, certain singular perturbation problems and Littlewood-Paley analysis.

French-German Project on Particle Suspensions

The French-German (ANR/DFG) research project Derivation and analysis of effective suspension models is concerned with the mathematical analysis of particle-laden flows. Within the Analysis of PDEs, this project is situated at the interplay of fluid dynamics, homogenization and kinetic theory.

Members of this project are: Dimitri Cobb, David Gérard-Varet, Richard Höfer (German coordinator), Amina Mecherbet (French coordinator), Richard Schubert et Franck Sueur.

Advertizement: a Particular Summer School!

In June 2025, between the 23rd and the 27th, there will be a summer school dedicated to suspensions of particles in fluids (e.g. paint, blood, mud, cement, etc.). These have been at the foreground of very active mathematical research in the past few years. This meeting will have three lectures dedicated to the analysis of suspensions from the point of view of fluid equations, kinetic equations and mean-field and hydrodynamic liits. There also will be four shorter talks. The goal is to introduce masters and PhD students to the topic, as well as confirmed researchers who are interested in discovering suspensions.
